BOMA Columbus recently welcomed Michelle May with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), NBC$ Meterologist Jym Ganahl, and 20th District State Representative Jim McGregor as guest speakers for monthly luncheon meetings.

May presented information concerning the ongoing study to reconfigure traffic patterns to alleviate congestion and improve safety at the Interstate 70/71 split.

Representative McGregor spoke about a recently introduced bill proposing initiatives foring further development of alternative energy programs in Ohio.

For those who were unaware (as most in the audience seemed to be) Ganahl pointed out that when viewing downtown Columbus from the air, several downtown office buildings seem to artistically spell out the word "Ohio."

• Thursday, February 28th - WinterFest/Reverse Raffle (Location TBD)

The Social/Marketing Committee is working diligently to plan some of these great events to promote fun and fellowship among all BOMA Columbus members.  Also in the works - March Madness event tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 13th, 2008.  Watch for details....
