Membership Committee
Membership Committee Meeting May 14, 2008The next membership committee meeting will be at 3:30 p.m. on May 14, 2008 prior to the monthly mixer at the Columbus Brewing Company. BOMA COLUMBUS provides an outstanding value for its members. We have served the commercial building industry since 1951 by acting as a clearinghouse of information and education for its members locally, regionally and nationally. Additionally, BOMA COLUMBUS effectively represents the interests of the commercial real estate community before every level of government and our public policy initiatives have helped avoid unnecessary regulatory fees, construction costs and other mandates.
BOMA's newsletters, special industry reports and annual membership directory are benefits, which help our members "stay in touch." In today's business climate, competent management and representation of real estate assets significantly adds to property values. BOMA COLUMBUS helps in this endeavor more than any other organization with its educational programs, legislative advocacy and focused seminars. In addition, our association events and regional activities are great sources for networking and business development.
Finally, BOMA COLUMBUS provides additional opportunities for every member through participation in our committees and programs. This volunteer involvement is the key to our association's success and is crucial in helping members network and educate themselves on new issues, technologies and challenges.
